Our staff brought the youths on an outing to the Asian Civilisations Museum at Empress Place where they learnt about the history of the various Asian countries such as China’s sea trades. They visited many exhibition rooms which displayed a collection of artifacts reflecting the cultural background of Singapore including ceramics, basketry and textiles. After the museum trip, the youths headed to Plaza Singapura to watch a movie that was highly anticipated – Beauty and the Beast! The youths really enjoyed their day spent in the bustling city area of Singapore.
